Education is the most powerful thing that a person can have. Education is not an
important thing just for a person but for a whole city or country. The base of education comes
from the family and then continues in other phases. Schools and others educational institutions
define the basic framework of education. Being educated it is not just gaining knowledge,
education builds a character also leads to a better future.
Education has a “big” impact on society by transforming the culture or tradition which
also has a big impact on other generations (Salgür, 2013). Education leads to expand our
perception about things and events around us, also helps us to develop our logical thinking, this
means that education leads to enlightened decisions (The financial express, 2014). An educated
person is more related to the society thereby he or she knows his or hers rights better and this
makes the person a more active citizen, it is very important for a person to know the rules or
rights of the country (Salgür, 2013). “Education introduces the individual into the legal, moral
and political area of public life” (Salgür, 2013). The change brought by new technologies has
had a significant effect on the way that people live, work or play it is a completely better life
with technology even though it can have impacts in other ways for kids (Cervenanska, 2013).
Schools are one place that people get knowledge and also education. One important year
in developing education was the past world war II when all the leaders understand that without education they can not survive the war, they needed technology to produce war supplies (Salgür,
The aim of schools is not just only the normal curricula and learning subject to students, it
also prepares them for life, teaching them to be devoted citizens (Salgür, 2013). Schools are very
important places because it is the only place where intellectuals and leaders of the future can be
educated and can gain knowledge for a better leadership (Salgür 2013). An educated leadership
can have a very big impact in a country, education is also important for economic growth
(Salgür, 2013). If a country wants to have a better economy or a better organized place they have
to invest a lot in education (Salgür, 2013). Until now it is not clear what kind of education should
be given to students to reach the goal of a better economic growth, according to Salgür (2013)
this is a case that should be important for a state especially in the Low Countries.
One of the biggest reasons why people tend to be more educated and to finish higher
education institutions is to have a better job and a brighter future (Salgür, 2013). People who
want to get a higher education are helping themselves also their country, these days education is
the most powerful weapon that a country can have (Salgür, 2013). According to (Financial
express, 2014) countries are paying more people that are better educated to motivate people to
finish higher education, the reason why, is that an educated employee can produce more than
others. Also educated employees cost less for big companies, they do not need training and do
not loose time learning new skills. In the end we can say that education is important and can
have impact in every field in life.
Education has a big impact on society by transforming the culture or tradition which also
has a big impact on other generations (Salgür, 2013). A lot of people believe that United States
are the leader in high education, this is the reason why United States made secondary schools for
free (Wobbekind, 2012). The benefits of education can be personal and societal level.
The statistics shows that an individual’s strong relationship exists between the level of education and
earnings (Card, 2013 as cited in Wobbekind , 2002).
