Nvidia Corporation has come up with two AI-based products one is “Jetson Xavier” and “Nvidia Issac” in an attempt to power autonomous robots. California-based, Nvidia designs graphics processing units for gaming as well as professional markets. Nvidia Issac is a new developer platform whereas is made of over nine billion transistors and processing components.
Founder and CEO at Nvidia, Jensen Huang said, “AI is the most powerful technology force of our time. Jetson Xavier and Isaac were intended to catch the next stage of AI advancement as it moves from programming running in the cloud to robots that explore this real world.
Nvidia Issac, the developer platform to connect to 3D cameras and sensors to keep algorithms running smoothly for training and testing bots in a virtual space. However, Jetson Xavier is claimed to be the world’s first computer made for the robotics. It is capable of delivering over 30 trillion operations per second and offers six types of high-performance processors.
Nvidia’s chips are used to control robots created by “Fellow” company and the cost of Jetson Xavier with Issac platform is$1,299.
