California-based Video-sharing website YouTube has several plans related to the music service. Recently, it is planning to launch a newer version of service known as YouTube Red which will feature personalized playlists based on individual’s YouTube history and many more. Also, the video-sharing site also ready to charge more on its original shows like Cobra Kai.
According to the information of the source, YouTube’s refurbished music service to be retitled as YouTube Premium. The website stated that the service will launch on May 22, 2018, for $10 after completion of the one-month trial period. YouTube Red competes against other competitors in the market including Google Play Music.
The company planning to add $2 charge for the other parts of YouTube Red, also will require individuals to also pay for YouTube Music. Cobra Kai is a sequel to the hit franchise Karate Kid and it is comedy series of 10 episodes. The video-sharing company did not comment.
Besides, the company has rolled out a new feature called Take a Break which will allow the user to tell the YouTube app to remind you to take a break after watching videos for a specific time. ‘Take a Break’ is just company’s new feature, the company planning to come with a new feature for ease.
YouTube tweeted, “Starting today, we’re updating the YouTube mobile app with features that help everyone understand their tech usage, disconnect when needed, and create healthy habits.”
