One of the world’s leading gaming company, Galaxy Entertainment Group which is listed on the Hong Kong Exchange, has announced the Michael Mecca’s appointed, effective immediately. Michael Mecca acts as a non-executive director while the company appointed Ted Chan as a chief operating officer for its Japan development team. Apart from this, the gaming company has partnered with Societe des Bains de Mer.
The group announced that Charles Cheung Wai Bun acts as non-Executive Director along with William Yip Shue Lam, James Ross Ancell, Patrick Wong Lung Tak.
Since 2009, the 69-year-old joined Galaxy Entertainment Group President and Chief Operating Officer who announced his retirement in last month after completing a couple of years with the group. He has now entered a service with GEG to the retirement by rotation and re-election in accordance with company and HKSE regulations. He will be paid HK$240,000 and bonus will be further added to the salary.
Galaxy Entertainment Group said in the statement, “The board would like to express its warmest welcome to Mr. Mecca on his appointment.”
Mecca also part of the Société Anonyme des Bains de Mer et du Cercle des Étrangers à Monaco where he acts as the board of directors and remains licensed by the Gaming Commissions in Macau and Australia.
Galaxy Entertainment Group’s note announced, “Mr. Mecca does not hold any directorships in any listed public companies and has not done so in the past three years and does not have any relationships with any Directors”.
Additionally, the group was to partner with Leisure and Resorts World Corp for the project.
