To tackle such situation and to reach new users, Facebook Lite and Messenger Lite have been rolling out over the 130 regions.

Social networking service based company, Facebook, broadcasted appearance of the Messenger Lite in several countries as the goal of “making sure that everyone can have a great experience with Messenger irrespective of the age of their smartphone”. Messenger Lite is an Android limited and is designed to work on less powerful phones. To perform this process, the app cut the features that require lots of data and processor resources.

Messenger Lite’s installation file is small. It can be downloaded fast, and the app will continue to work on 2G networks. It can also operate on Android’s 2.3 Gingerbread version. The application is now accessible in Germany, Colombia, Italy, Vietnam, Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, Turkey, Japan, Taiwan, including Netherlands region.
